do peeps explode?

okay as in peeps i mean those stuff for like, easter. my friend told me that you put peeps in an microwave and then BOOM it explodes!!!! 0.o i mean, i never seen it in person, never will bother to use my own microwave. but HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE????? please tell me.  but in my opinion, i don't like peeps. too sugary. oh well. im not going to be a jerk to those that like them.  well if you have a video of exploding peeps, please send a link!!! thank you~

    hmmm... don't think we get peeps where i'm from, but i have put marshmallows in the microwave before - i wouldn't say they explode but they do puff up pretty big and then they just like spill over.
    smores are really tasty though - you take 2 marie biscuits and melt a marshmallow between them, nom nom nom

    Well, peeps are basically marshmallows. So, if what debauch3ry says about Marshmallows is true(them not exploding) then I don't think they do.
    Oh, and peeps can actually be found for seasons like Christmas(reindeer and snowman shaped) and Halloween(pumpkin shaped)
